Our statement of faith summarizes the biblical foundations that guide the life of Eglise Esprit & Vie.

Statement of faith

What we believe

God the Father

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He deserves gratitude, worship, trust and obedience.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, truly God and truly man. He died for our sins, rose again and will return as promised.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person sent by the Lord to dwell in every born-again believer, teaching, guiding, building up and giving gifts for service.

The Bible

It is the inspired and infallible Word of God, the foundation of our faith and authority for doctrine and life.

Praise

Praise is a way of life in all circumstances, giving glory to God for all He does in our lives.

Christian life

Men and women were created by God in His image to be in relationship with Him and associated with His work.

Evangelism

We want to share the good news of salvation in Jesus and His love through our life testimony.

Fellowship

We want to live brotherly love in community, in a family atmosphere of welcome, service, forgiveness and authentic relationships.

Teaching

Teaching in the church is for every generation and is rooted in the eternal Word of God.

The Church

We believe the Church is made up of all born-again believers in every nation, and local churches are visible expressions of it.

Respect

We believe in respecting human dignity, the goods of others, social justice, creation and lawful authorities unless they contradict biblical teaching.
